Tom Kelenic of 5 Diamonds in WaukeshaHamm loses his local crusade against beer at the ballpark

As a city resident I don’t make my way out to the Town Board meetings very often.  Last night the atmosphere at the meeting was relaxing and very professional compared to meetings I’ve attended under the previous administration.

Five Diamonds Fields Baseball Facility in Waukesha_2012

More than a month after the owners of Five Diamonds Inc., requested with the state to be annexed into the City of Waukesha, the city’s Plan Commission took up the issue at its meeting last week at City Hall and voted to recommend the annexation.   While a bad relationship could end with the Town, another could begin if the Common Counsel makes the final approval.

The 5 Diamonds baseball complex located at W234 S3555 Les Paul Parkway opened earlier this year and there has been anything but a positive relationship between its owners, Town of Waukesha officials, and the neighbors in the area.
