Fox Brook Park is open year round from sunrise to 10 p.m.
Beach Hours:
Fox Brook Beach is open June through August.
Weekdays the beach is open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Weekends and holidays the beach is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Fox Brook Park offers a large variety of recreational opportunities in northeastern Waukesha County in the the City of Brookfield. The park features a 22-acre quarry lake with a 400 foot sand beach, and a spacious 100 person heated lodge. The park also features 138 acres of wetland area that has been preserved as a natural habitat, allowing many bird and wildlife species to flourish. With its one-mile paved trail that circles around the quarry lake, Fox Brook Park includes three wildlife observation decks which allow you to observe the nature and beauty of this diverse park. Facility and Area Reservations:
30’ x 30’ picnic areas can be reserved. Picnic areas include a large grill, wood burning fireplace, sand volleyball, and a shelter area. The shelter includes a cement base, 25 picnic tables, a kitchen with hot and cold water, sink and counter space, electricity, and restrooms.
Fox Brook Lodge is available for public or private rental during the off-season which runs from September through mid-May. The lodge includes a patio, fireplace, tables and chairs, electricity, refrigerator, microwave, freezer, sink, and indoor restrooms.

Dear fox brook park,
I am just wondering what is the age for fishing and do u need a fishing permit? What kind of fish are stock their? I would like to bring my nephew their and teach him how fish.

There is no age limit for fishing throughout Wisconsin.
A fishing license is required in all Waukesha County Parks.
Wisconsin residents and non-residents 16 years old or older need fishing license to fish in any waters of the state. Children under 16 years of age do not need a fishing license. Be certain to follow the daily bag limits set by the DNR -> 2012-2013 Hook and Line Fishing Regulations.
