Pro HealthCare Walks 2014 WaukeshaThe Waukesha RiverWalk for Breast Cancer is an annual event to support breast cancer programs in Waukesha, WI.

The walk takes place on Saturday, May 3rd at 10:00a.m. at Frame Park.

T-Shirt Pick Up – Friday, April 25th – 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday, April 26th – 9 a.m. to noon at Waukesha Memorial Hospital (use West entrance)

First Spring Storm Rumbles Through Waukesha

Saturday’s morning showers and scattered sprinkles were nothing compared to the spring storms that rumbled across Waukesha throughout the evening and into the early morning.

Heavy storm cells moved across southeastern Wisconsin throughout the afternoon, but at around 6:30 p.m. rolls of thunder could be heard and felt as storms moved through the city.  Lightning, heavy rains and  small, pea-sized hail was reported in the Waukesha area.  The skies flashed with lightning and thunder rumbled throughout the county. Shortly before 7:00 p.m., emergency vehicle sirens could be heard as the storm grew more violent and lightning strikes grew nearer.

Congratulations to our New Mayor are in Order

Shawn ReillyWaukesha has a new mayor, and for the second consecutive mayoral election in Waukesha the incumbent mayor has lost to the challenger.

Local downtown Waukesha attorney, Shawn Reilly, won Tuesday’s mayoral election by 2,258 votes over Jeff Scrima.

Congratulations to Shawn Reilly.  The people of Waukesha have spoken and we look forward to seeing Waukesha continue to be Wisconsin’s number one city with awesome family events, live music, great food, art, and friendly people.

Shawn Reilly is Waukesha’s 34th mayor.
