5 Diamonds Fields is celebrating its Grand Opening this Saturday, May 5th, 2012 from 6:00-9:00pm at the youth baseball complex located at W234 S3555 Les Paul Parkway in Waukesha.
The Ceremonial First Pitch will be thrown at 6:30pm, and the event will include games and prizes from some of 5 Diamonds’ corporate sponsors. Food vendors will also be on site to provide samples. The Klement’s Famous Racing Sausages will visit the event and be available for pictures.
5 Diamonds will be home to the Waukesha Blazer’s youth baseball and softball organizations as well as the Catholic Memorial High School baseball team. It will also host 11 tournaments during the 2012 season, which will attract more than 4,000 youth.
Zach Sprader Fund Raiser
In conjunction with the grand opening of 5 Diamonds Fields, there will be a fundraiser for Blazer teammate Zach Sprader.
On January 4th, 2012 Zach was diagnosed with T Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia . At the age of 11, Zach bravely faces his treatments and his goal is to play baseball this summer.
The fundraising events will raise money to support his family with medical costs.
