Wisconsin Highland Games Come to WaukeshaCome celebrate the culture, food, and excitement of The Wisconsin Highland Games.   An entire weekend of Celtic competitions and games will be held at the Waukesha Expo Center this Labor Day weekend.

Promoted most recently at Irish Fest in Milwaukee, many young and older adults that live in the Waukesha area are looking forward to The Wisconsin Highland Games.

The event kicks off with opening ceremonies Friday, September 2nd at 5:00 p.m.

Friday September 2nd: Ceremonies will continue throughout the night until 10:00 p.m.

Saturday September 3rd: Open 9 a.m. through 6:00 p.m.  (Pub tent closes at 10 p.m.)

Sunday September 4th: Open 10 a.m. through 5:00 p.m. (Pub tent closes at 8:00 p.m.)

Tickets are $10 at the gate, however you may save $3 on advanced tickets which are now available.  You may order tickets by mail, online, or in person. Children twelve and under are free.

Events include live traditional and contemporary Celtic music, Scottish, Irish & American foods, Highland Dancing competitions, arts, crafts, history, and lore.

    I am truly looking forward to seeing some of my cultural heritage, especially the sporting competitions. Those guys and gals are truly competitive — never observed these events live, only on television.
