One of the biggest events happening around Waukesha this coming week is the Waukesha County Fair.
Since 1842 Waukesha County has been hosting its annual fair, making it Wisconsin’s oldest and largest county event. 2011 marks the 169th annual running of the fair, which is being hosted at the Waukesha County Exposition Center, located at 1000 Northview Road (next to the Waukesha County airport).
This year’s fair runs from Wednesday, July 20 th through Sunday, July 24th, and the daily schedule and admission prices are as follows:
Wednesday: 3PM – 10PM
Thursday: 10AM – 11PM
Friday: 10AM – Midnight
Saturday: 10AM – Midnight
Sunday: 10AM – 9PM
Adult at the Gate: $9.00
Youth (6-12 yrs.): $3.00
The 2011 Waukesha County Fair music lineup includes a lot of top musicians and local bands as well. This year’s fair will include a Main Stage Lineup and a Side Stage Lineup with entertainment scheduled for all five days. With performances by The Beach Boys, Credence Clearwater Revisited, Collective Soul, and the Motor City Madman himself, Ted Nugent, this year’s lineup is sure to be a hit for all audiences.
