Waukesha BID to Move Forward

Waukesha BID

The Downtown Waukesha Business Improvement District (BID) will once again resume operations after the  Common Council narrowly accepted the recommendation of Mayor Scrima at Tuesday evenings meeting at City Hall.

In a 7-6 vote council members approved Sandy Cianciolo to the Waukesha BID Board. Cianciolo is the owner of Mia’s Italian Restaurant on Clinton Street in downtown Waukesha.

Up until this recent appointment the BID board could not meet because they did not have a quorum of at least seven members. Accepting the Mayor’s appointment of Cianciolo created a quorum so the BID can once again resume their business operations.

Council members voiced concerns  and warnings about future BID operations and appointments for the remaining six vacancy’s.
