I’ve got a few moments here before I head off to work and I have this overwhelming feeling of relief now that the Presidential Election is over. I don’t want to talk about the election, President Obama’s victory, or Governor Romney’s defeat. I only wish to state that I’m glad it’s over and that I will not have to endure any more election advertisements on the television, radio, and internet… Thank God!
I do want to briefly talk about what’s happening in Downtown Waukesha. Today is November 7th and in just nine more days Silver Bells in Waukesha kicks off with the Waukesha Christmas Tree lighting. The Silver Bells events go on for four weeks, with Horse Drawn Carriage rides going through December 29th. There’s lots of fun and family activities included in the 2012 Silver Bells events, so visit the website and check it out! I know that they’re looking for volunteers for Christmas Caroling. If you think you may be interested in gathering a few friends or family members and walking through the streets and businesses of downtown Waukesha for a couple of hours, please visit the Silver Bells website or contact The Steaming Cup to sign up.
Have a great day — unless you’ve made other plans…Share this post via:
